Chocolate Cheesecake Muffins

A Cupcake of a Muffin

These cupcakes muffins are totes amazing!  Totes!   Sorry, I gave away the ending.  But that's good.  Now you can head over to Baked Sunday Mornings to get the recipe, and get making these muffins!  Seriously!!

What are you still doing here??  You should be off, baking your own amazing muffins!

Before you start baking, make sure  you have this (for the cheesecake portion of these muffins).

And all of this (and more) for the chocolate muffin.

Chocolate + Coffee = Mmm Freaking Mmm
Don't believe me?  Do the math!

Cocoa powder, chopped dark chocolate and butter will be melted with hot coffee and hot water.

This all gets mixed together for the muffin base.

Gently folding everything together 'cause we don't want no tough muffins!

Muffins tins get filled.  Cheesecake filling between the chocolate muffin mixture.

I got a total of 20 muffins out of this recipe.  (It says it can make 12.)  Hmm.

 Them is some purdy muffins.

And they smell so good!!!  And as per my spoiler at the beginning, also tasted good!  So good, that I totally forgot to take a pic of them so you could see the pretty cream cheese filling inside.
Being the good baked blogger that I am, I made another batch of the muffins.  Yup.  But this time, I used half white chocolate and half caramelia chocolate for the cheesecake filling.  (`Cause being the bad baked blogger that I am, I ran out of white chocolate.)

Now if that hasn't convinced you to go make these, then maybe I haven't done my job.  Maybe I should just quit this blogging thing.  (Did the guilt work?)  Good!  Go here for the recipe (and call your mother).

  1. Sandra, your muffins have such perfectly rounded tops and nice crackles! Really nice job-- they're beautiful. I bet that Caramelia batch was mighty tasty too! :)

  2. These look great! Definitely totes amazeballs!
